This is a drying crochet snowflake. Crocheting is one of my hobbies that usually gets picked up around birthdays and holidays. Very convenient things you can make for people. This happened to be the only picture I took today. That old saying about taking your pictures early in the day is certainly true.

Yes, my drying area is a Quaker Oat Squares cereal box covered with wax paper. Very, very high tech! When I made it last year, it’s the only cardboard I could find, so I’ve kept it. It will probably need to be updated though, as it is falling in at the center.

This pattern was taken from Snowcatcher (recently added to the blogroll on the left). I love all the snowflake patterns on the site. Unfortunately I don’t remember which pattern this was…. So sorry.

Yikes! I just realized it was almost the end of the month and I haven’t completed a book yet! ~ rabbit trail pertaining to my Goals for 2013.

Anyways, Thanksgiving Breakfast in the AM over here so should probably be heading to bed now.
